Health and Safety

Planning the Project Approximately 2.2 million people work in one of Britain's biggest industries, construction. It is also one of the most dangerous. In the last 25 years, over 2,800 people have died from injuries they received as a result of construction work. Many more have been injured or made ill.

NSE is committed to and proactively involved in reducing these figures by providing the correct training, equipment, and management tailored to suit all our diverse projects and staff.

TRADITIONAL SKILLS WITH A MODERN APPROACH

From 1st July 2008, NSE has appointed its very own in-house health and safety manager, who oversees all projects from tender stage to completion enabling us to provide the most up to date and planned solutions to all eventualities that may arise.

As an active member of the eastern region roof training group we have access to the very latest in skills, and health and safety training for all employees and subcontractors, resulting in a workforce that is aware, able and involved in company policy and training.

Our employees are encouraged to pursue avenues of training that personally interest them, this creates a positive atmosphere in the work place, whilst also achieving one of the hardest to reach goals for any company: a happy, involved, and proactive workforce.

Also, in order to demonstrate to existing and new clients Equipment that we are committed in these areas, we have achieved various accreditations and are members of numerous trade bodies. You can view and find details of these on our accreditations page.

We believe that as long as we continually strive to better ourselves in these fields, we are able to offer our clients a constantly improving service, whilst positively growing as a company.
